She was worshipped like a goddess, “Devi Ka roop” they used to call her. Only untill the day she bled and now she is not allowed in the temple.

The day she is born, she is treated as a princess by her parents, especially by her father. She is also worshipped during Kanyaa pooja, in a Hindu holy ritual, carried out on the eighth and ninth day of the Navaratri festival. The ceremony primarily involves the worship of nine girls, representing the nine forms of Goddess Durga. As per Hindu philosophy, these girls are considered as the manifestation of the natural force of creation.
Is it a great thing they are doing? or they are just being selfish to make their god happy?
If its considered as their good heart for doing such thing then what happens to them when a girl gets her periods for the first time. What happens to them when she started bleeding for five days every month? What happens to the Goddess inside her for these five days?
For these five days she is not allowed to stay with other family members, she is not allowed in the kitchen “kitchen apavitra ho jayega”, she is not allowed to touch flowers “Phool murjhaa jayenge”, She is not allowed in the Mandir too, why? I mean when she isn’t on her periods she is a goddess, and for those five days every months she is not considered even a human being, is it not inhumanity? Forget about men for a second, even other women do consider it APAVITRA, Come’n you have been through the pain she is having every month, atleast you show some respect to her, show some decency to humanity. Some call it being on a periods, some call it she is down, some may call it she is in her menses, Some call it even abusive.

You can’t even imagine the pain she is getting during these five days of every month. She is going through menstrual cramps, which are a throbbing pain in the lower abdomen, even lower back pain is also she is facing. its doesn’t stop here for 5 days only then there is a thing called PMS (pre menstrual syndrome) which is a condition that affects a woman’s emotions, physical health, and behaviour during certain days of the menstrual cycle, generally just before her periods.
She bleeds every month and takes up the pain to give birth to you! Simple, Humans exist coz of the pain she takes up!
If you cant treat her like Goddess, no problem. But treating her like a human being during her periods will do the justification. Treat her with care during her periods, feel great to pamper her during that time, if she like eating something, feel free to cook for her. Remember you are on the earth because of the pain a female has gone through, respect that.

Dear parents the child is yours only, she is in pain. She needs your attention this time, she needs your care the most this time. And dear girl feel free to talk to your brother about this pain, about this phase, so that he can behave well with his girlfriend or his girl friend. Don’t feel ashamed of your periods, and don’t supplement it with words like “mera pet dukh raha hai, me down hu, or whatever you say.” be frank about it, Say you’re on your periods. Its just a natural process. Firstly you should be the one accepting it as a natural process. Consider it as a sign of a healthy body. kyuki healthy nahi honge to har mahine periods nahi aayenge, if you know what I mean.
Think twice before making fun of a girl in a period, kyunki agar tumhari mommy periods me nahi hoti na, ya wo natural processes unki body me nahi ho rahe hote to, tum paida bhi nahi hote.
